Golem
The Hebrew on this clay skull means “dead”, but with the smudged letter intact it reads “truth.” In the tale of the golem, the Jews of Prague created a figure out of clay and inscribed his head with “truth” to animate him and bring him to life. The golem protected the Jews from those who would do them harm. When he was no longer needed, simply rubbing out the Aleph deactivated the golem. Keep this lil’ dude around as a reminder of our resilience.
Fine art giclee reproduction prints made using archival inks on acid-free cold press watercolor paper. These prints are professional grade and made to withstand the test of time, staying vibrant and true.
